Penn State's Educational Gaming Commons has created "PSU Connections," a pre-conference game associated with the 2009 Symposium for Teaching and Learning with Technology. The purpose of the game is to introduce players to the wide variety of educational gaming and educational technologies available at Penn State and elsewhere.
The newly designed game consists of five "quests." The first four quests focus on individual activities, which ultimately enable players to visit Web pages where they can obtain information on educational technologies available at Penn State. Participants can then move on to the final quest (a group activity starting Friday, April 17 at 10:00 a.m. in 23 Willard Building), which culminates in players taking part in a scavenger hunt across the University Park campus.
For more information and to sign up for the game, please e-mail gaming@psu.edu with the subject line "2009 TLT Symposium Game Sign Up." Include your name and contact information in the body of the e-mail. You do not have to be registered for the 2009 TLT Symposium to play.
