University Park, Pa. -- Penn State Information Technology Services (ITS) has significantly increased the amount of personal storage space available to University community members from the current 5 gigabyte (GB) maximum, to 10GB of space for course work, research, Web projects, portfolios, personal blogging, graphics, photos and more. The fall increase makes PASS one of the largest personal storage space allotments available to students, faculty, and staff among universities across the nation.
Penn State Access Account Storage Space (PASS) provides universally accessible disk and file-storage space for use by students, faculty and staff at Penn State, as well as departments and courses. Participants are initially allocated 500MB of online storage space upon receipt of a Penn State Access Account. Users can increase their storage allocations to 10GB via the ITS Secure Server's quota utility at https://www.work.psu.edu/ and student organizations can increase their respective quotas at https://admin.clubs.psu.edu/.
Additional information about PASS and PASS-based services is found at http://its.psu.edu/PASS/, and instructions for accessing and using PASS are found in the ITS Knowledge Base (KB) at http://kb.its.psu.edu/. Inquiries may be directed to ITS Help Desk staff at helpdesk@psu.edu.
